Amy Vennema: the designer behind the a.v. max brand. She was raised in Greenwich Village and now lives in Brooklyn, where she and her husband raised two daughters. Being a native New Yorker has played a very important role in Amy's aesthetic. While always staying on top of the latest trends she focuses on creating designs that offer show stopping beauty and effortless style.
a.v. max began as a small booth in a jewelry trade show. Close to 25 years later, the label has since caught the attention of stylish retailers all over the globe. In an airy Brooklyn brownstone that doubles as a studio and a root of inspiration, designer Amy Vennema and her team of artisans handcraft every piece of jewelry in the collection.
Not only are we proud of the made in the USA product we create, but it is also important to us that we support the remaining U.S. jewelry supply factories.
